Skil 3540-02 4.2-Amp 7-Inch Wet Tile Saw Review

This Skil 3540-02 4.2-Amp 7-Inch Wet Tile Saw is designed for DIY jobs around the house. It makes accurate cuts and otherwise works very well; the adjustable rip fence with miter gauge makes precise, straight miter cuts and the bevel can cut the tile on an angle anywhere between 0 and 45 degrees. The Skil 3540-02 wet tile saw design is also quite durable and made with ease of use in mind; the stainless steel table top is resistant to corrosion and the water reservoir keeps the blade cool and reduces dust and debris.

Skil 3540-02 4.2-Amp 7-Inch Wet Tile Saw Conclusion

The reviews say that this is a great product; it’s small and cheap- not intended for professional work- but it is accurate and durable.

Key benefits apart from the price are it is easy to set up  and robust ennough for DIY use. The blade cuts well but is more suited to  more thicker tiles  and is easily changed .Minor niggles include the small size of the water resevoir and the fiddliness of the fence adjustment. But for this price, this saw is worth getting. Would suit best for the  DIYer who needs to use a tile saw for several days, but who cannot afford to rent or buy a more fully featured saw.
